As a family-owned local butcher stall, Alec Watson has been operating since the early 1900s. We provide the neighbourhood with only the finest quality of pork, beef and lamb produce. Our meats are sourced locally, from leading producers that practices ethical and sustainable farming.

With a unique blend of Italian heritage, not only do we administer classic Italian butchery, we also specialise in Italian continental products such as the Pork and Fennel as well as traditional sausages and cured meats, all made in-house. Stephen Saro
The Meat Cognoscenti
Australian born Italian, Stephen (left) grew up in this very stall, owned by his parents back then where he picked up the Italian butchering ways. His passion burns for food conservation by only using the best ingredients.

Away from the market, Stephen expands his food interest through his group of friends who shares the same enthusiasm, that often hosts their very own "mates cook-off".

The Continental Connoisseur
Brother of Stephen, Mike has been a part of the Alec Watson & Son butcher team for many years.
Mike is all about the flavours and spices where he combines to achieve the best continental smallgoods. He values authenticity, quality, and tradition so you are set to find the most delicious meats in town.
